The Printing Process
Steps in the print/order process
First you have to submit your artwork for a free quote or have our art department create it. Your electronic artwork should be created and submitted with the proper resolution and with an accepted software program without the need for modifications.
Software Formats Accepted:
Adobe Illustrator (vector art)
Adobe Photoshop (1 colour)
Resolution:
300 DPI compressed jpegs or tif files at final size for Photoshop. Please
send spot color or original hi-resolution files only. CMYK plus pantone
colors if possible. Vector files preferred, please check color separations
before sending file. PDF, EPS, Al files from adobe illustrator are
considered vector art if text is converted with outlines and with pantone
colors these files will not incur art fees.
If photo images are submitted using other programs such as Word or Paint it will need to be retraced in vector format and you will be charged an art fee.

Steps in the embroidery/order process
First you have to submit your artwork for a free quote or have our art department create it. Your electronic artwork file is considered “ready” when the artwork is created and submitted with the proper resolution and in an accepted software program without the need for modifications.
Software Formats Accepted:
Adobe Illustrator (vector art)
Adobe Photoshop (1 colour)
Resolution:
300 DPI compressed jpegs or tif files at final size for Photoshop. Please
send spot color or original hi-resolution files only. CMYK plus pantone

Then the submitted artwork is sent out for a digitizing quote
Once artwork is digitized it is saved to a disk as a DST, EXP, or CND
The digitized artwork must be approved by the customer and graphic designer
Your order is then embroidered
Next your order is packaged with a PO and mailed to the customer
Finally, you will be billed in various ways depending on credit approval and preference

Vector graphics are a resolution-independent, scalable format composed of individual objects made up of mathematical calculations. Vector images can be resized easily without loss of quality making them an ideal format for the initial design of logos and illustrations that are to be used at multiple sizes.
