Licensed Products History
Golden currently holds two licenses, Trailer Park Boys and Floppy TopsTM. For the last five years we have been selling Floppy Tops which are a very unique line of children's clothing that has a patented interactive design that makes the products appealing. In 2003 the company negotiated an agreement with TBP Productions of Halifax, producers of the popular "Trailer Park Boys", to use Trailer Park Boys personalities and logos on Golden's products. To date both ventures have been successful and Golden has been pleased with the sales of these product lines, which are distributed primarily through Canadian distributors, retailers and via internet-based sales.
In the past Golden has also been contracted out to manufacture for exclusive merchandise representatives. For example, in 2006 when the Rolling Stones came to Canada, Golden manufactured the Halifax event T-shirt, the Canadian event T-shirt, and a Rolling Stones baseball hat and toque (above right).
